If you are advertising, here's some skills to use when trying to get people you can trust over to WEF:
- Tell them some features that WEF has that no other forum, or just a few forums, have:
Like the Banker. SocialBook. Karma Kash. Cool skins. etc
- Tell them how management works things:
Like tell them great moderating skills. Great administrating skills. Takes care of problems. Makes cyberbullying not in the dictionary of WEF. etc.
- Tell them statistics:
Tell them our hit counter on WEF. Tell them how many members we have. Tell them some of the members that are popular on wrestling forums. Tell them some of the admins and mods that are popular on wrestling forums. etc.
- Tell them rewards for joining and doing other things:
Like if they join, tell them the reward. Tell them if they do certain things on the forums, tell them the reward. etc.
- Tell them the privacy they have on WEF:
We got alot of privacy on WEF. E-Mails hidden from all members if chosen to be hidden, even from the administrators. No E-Mail Confirmations. This is an important element as well because people want privacy, and we allow that on WEF. etc.
- Tell them some helpful tricks on WEF:
E-Mail Confirmation is one. Since there is no confirming E-Mails, say if they want, they can enter a false E-Mail. I have been telling people to sign up as "______@somewhere.com".. And there are other tricks to be said, like on the forums and chatbox and all that. etc.
- Give them the link:
Obviously needed no matter what. You got to include the link so they know where to come. etc.
- Do this on popular sites that you know people that would want to join:
Some examples are Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites. Some forums are ok if the admins allow it on other forums. If they don't, then try doing PMs on forums, to members who would possibly like to join. etc.
- Give this to friends off the internet that you know personally in real life:
This works out too. You see all the helpful advertising skills I got listed here. If you can use them on the internet, why not use them in real life and give your buddies the link and other great comments about WEF? etc.
